Tom Conley, Co-Founder, President and Executive Managing Director.

Tom is a very community-minded person who has a great work ethic. He has experience in leadership and management with a sound knowledge of administrative, research, analysis and problem solving, and computer skills. Tom is the President, Executive Managing Director and Co-Founder of DCSS Australia Inc., formerly known as LGBTIQ – Support & Protection Services Inc., which was founded in February 2014.

Tom currently holds the post-nominals and membership of AMICDA (Associate Member of the Institute of Community Directors). Tom is a candidate for the following education Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Criminology (BASocSc) through Swinburne University and a Diploma of Government through Canberra Institute of Technology. Tom has been involved within community services since his early teens as Indigenous youth. He has always had a passion to help make a difference in the community and in people’s lives.

George Farmakis, Board Member - NSW Vice President

George joined DCSS Australia in 2019 and is the NSW State Director and is predominantly responsible for advising and overseeing the organisation's investment strategy and finance matters in NSW. George has over 8 years’ experience within the private sector, working for both large corporations and small business across the accounting, financial service and governance industries. He is passionate about empowering all people to reach their true potential regardless of the obstacles, as well as providing supportive environments for vulnerable communities. George is a CFA Charter holder and holds and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and a Bachelor of Arts (History) from the University of New South Wales.


Piotr Debowski, Board Member - Board Secretary and Community Membership Chair

Piotr joined DCSS Australia in July 2019 bringing with him a vast facet of experience in leadership, operations and law. Piotr joined DCSS Australia due to his passion for legal education, policy reform and advocacy for social justice issues.  Piotr holds a Bachelor of Law (Hons) from Monash University, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law and is an admitted solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria.

Ian Blekkenhorst, Advisory Committee Member - Finance Manager and Delegate

Ian joined DCSS in early 2020, bringing with him significant experience in finance, accounting, grant management and government relations. Ian is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Majors in Accounting and Business Law from the University of Western Australia. His professional experience is shaped by over six years with Deloitte Asia Pacific, working in Melbourne, Perth and Christchurch across Tax and Corporate Finance roles.

Ian sits on both the Leadership Team as Finance Manager, and Advisory Committee as Finance Delegate, providing expertise and guidance on all accounting and financial matters, and supporting the organisation with governance, strategic analysis and planning, and overall management.

Rosalyn WoodAdvisory Committee Member - Client Services Leader


Rosalyn has been with DCSS Australia since 2019, she volunteers in the Client Services team and also assists with community partnerships. Rosalyn has volunteered with other non-profits such as Beyond Blue and the Cancer Council Victoria. She enjoys serving the community and helping to improve outcomes for people who are experiencing disadvantage. Rosalyn holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Melbourne, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (GDLP) from the Leo Cussen Centre for Law. She is an admitted solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and a member of the Law Institute of Victoria.
